CHAOS WALKING

You are with the earth,
The night, and sky
listening for vices,
Chasing Everglades.
If the morning comes
And we still remain,
Call the hallows chariots,
Hellhounds, guardian deities.
Refrain from being the prisoner,
Absconding with moral decadence.
Primordial being,
Malevolence encased; cursed.
Wait, wait,
There’s still something in the air;
Sinister, cold,
Alluded to repeatedly.
If there is paranoia,
Then withhold this memory.
Still, silent, profound,
Do not deject into this madness.
Over me the charge is taken
A reinvisioned manifestation
Of what is to come,
Contained in a single lie.
Ask, and unending query,
We still do not give face.
Relentlessly immersed
In deprivation for stability, for pleasure.
Keen with a sound mind,
Dense, still draining like the dark.
It is intense you know,
staying resolved, consistent.
Where is the sense?
Lost time like the track
Kept turning back,
reverse soaring, fleeting.
Still their hands are covered,
Stained blood red,
Innocent, and guilty,
The hour never forgets.
Now dawn has come,
Dusk lingers still,
Restraining the figures of the night,
Kept at bay by the light.
Fear looms even, and
Greater good has no màn
For his lover
Than he himself.
Do we live,
Or must we die,
Your turn or mine,
It will be and that is fine.
The semblance in our design,
Flaws encapsulated in deceit,
Always playing the upper hand;
How far will you go?
You have done it now,
Watch it all with a breath of smoke
You have asked, still unending queries,
Well what is it to you?
Because I have learnt to exist in this chaos.
