NATURES' REVENGE

Staring out the glass locked payne,
Lost in the droplets of rain
That nourish the earth,
Our final resting place.
The wind howls,
And the trees sway to their will while
The sun still hides its face.
Here, now, the gloomy clouds are triumphant still.
Who tells the sun when to rise,
Who commands the elements in obedience,
The powers ever starry with their gaze,
The balance imbued in nature.
I watch, subconsciously
Mesmerized by the streaks
Of dirt snuffed out
By heavens tears.
There is hardly any music
At least not from the birds
They are huddled,
Safe from the storm.
I admire the rage
Of the World above,
Touching every living being
With equality in all their aggression.
I hear it,
The trickle from rooftops,
Down to the soil,
The progression of life.
I feel it,
The chill gust of the breeze,
Like a cold summers night
In deserted lands.
I see them,
The ones who wield it,
Their Gift',
Impatient, restless, ambitious, foul.
