OUT OF LIFE
My eyes are heavy, So full like the stained Graveyard on my lips Filled with death. It is too much. I do not know how much more I can take, I have been holding on too long. It is 3 am and I am nauseated Not feeling, Still plagued With the madness lingering beneath. What is going on in my mind, Where is the peace, What has happened to my soul, Now lost in anguish? Find me, Please find me. I am sinking lower each day, So someone please help. I am tired Oh so tired. It hurts

ETERNITY
Spent an eternity wondering If that was me Blindly locked in, True form, mirror trapped, reflected. What has been seen Remains a mystery still, Like the source of life, All that is, all that we are. If death truly was the healer, And life, the most gruesome lessons, Where does that leave Our presence on this fickle earth? Why is there no peace For the innocent, Hope for the lost, Love for the weary. Each streak of blood Through these persons Has been a thousand lifetimes O

DESIRE
Syre, Passion, Pain, and Desire. Craving your touch Malleably constructing The brazen tough Folds of my skin. To be in your presence Is to be acclimated To the sublime, The calm before the storm. Wrapped around you Lost, and intoxicated In your voice, Your body, your fantasies. I want to feel you, To FEEL YOU. Intertwined, locked, lips, fingertips Your grace is compared To the river goddess herself. Your hour figure A testament of your right I dare not question your des

FALLEN REALITY
Learning to let go Has been difficult beyond recompense. Understanding this chaotic cycle, This karma. Over, and over again, I am reshaped By these actions, Ones perpetrated in my least decisive moments. The lies I hide behind Are merely a façade, A forced illusion adopted To keep the truth from coming to life. In my self conceited desires Lay both My fears, And weaknesses. Acknowledging them Has been no easy task. Thus, I find myself here once again In the midst of the tu

LOVE
The steamed breath Against my forehead, It warms, and soothes My mind, I am at ease. I feel his embrace Tighter with each breath, Drawing me closer to him, To my roots. He braids my hair, And cradles me When I cry, I am loved. He is my protector My rock When I am scared, I am safe. He lays me down, And sings me lullabies' Till I dream of the sun, I am cherished. In her soft arms I find solace, The one who birthed me, Nurtured me. I feel her everlasting glow Like an ange

SCARS
You haunt me With your disdainful presence, Your narcissistic ruse, Your coercive endeavours. From our first encounters I learnt your truths, Lies you hide, The mysterious intent I am brazen yet starstruck, Confused yet alluded You want me to heal But hold the very chains, The very same whips Keeping me on the edge. Time, and time again, You strike subliminally, With your words, Your actions. I fall apart Each time I see these scars, Etched and carved Into my body, my so

I AM FREE
Wake me up When morning comes, And I draw breath In excess. The cries of the hummingbirds Gliding through the morning sky, The whispers of the wind Through the crevices of my soul. Dawn breaks, And the suns majestic flames Thread the distance On its canvas, the earth. I watch closely, With my eyes Bundled up in awe, In solitude, in peace. I see the ocean in the distance; Listen, to the waves as they break land, Aggressive in their wake, Calm in their recourse. Oh to be a f

SILENCE
I am afraid. Each time I close my eyes, The vast, endless space Never seems to end In my thoughts Lay confusion, and paranoia Far beneath the harsh exterior Buried in the past My blemishes, My battles, My wars, My truer self. They haunt me, The things I once loved; They torment me, The ones I sought to protect. In my waking moments I am numbed by pain, Shortness of breath, and The abysmal descent into the dark. I cannot wrap my head around it The harder I push The harder thes

MEMOIRE
It has been months on end; Time has paced so fast, and So much has happened Since then and now No days have passed Without thoughts of you Parading the empty halls Of my mind I am falling to pieces all over again I can not find myself Or what little happiness I thought I had left I thought I had let go.... Let go of us, The thoughts of you Your precious face Smiling upon me As you held mine in awe, Kissing me so tenderly Your arms encompassing reach Gave me warmth in your

“NEVER AGAIN”
You’ve done your worst You’ve thrown everything at me You’ve hit me while I was down You’ve let me go I thought about hurting you like you hurt me About vengeance About hate so malicious So vile yet destructive But then I realize You don’t deserve that You don’t deserve my hate You don’t deserve that hold over me I’d have given the world to see your smile I’d have given my heart up again Just to feel your touch To feel you I would’ve quelled The most atrocious lies If it mean

“BETWEEN TWO THORNS”
How dare you? You question my loyalty, You question my truth and emotions; You question me. After all the lies you’ve told, The repetitive hidden truths, The secrets you hid, The empty words you spoke. You looked me dead in the eyes, And you lied to me. You lied to my heart, You lied to my soul. When you uttered those words, I’d throw myself in your arms embrace, I’d feel my heart pace faster and faster With each breath; My lips ever craving yours As my hands lingered, My eye

"OCEAN EYES"
I’ve been watching Sunrise; reflect Open your eyes As the sun illuminates the worlds they hold Stare me down With those very eyes The same ones That see through my very soul I can’t help but feel The presence Of something much greater Vast, supreme, tenacious I get lost in your eyes Because they reflect; The sun’s will The moon’s desires I get lost in your eyes And my soul wanders; The very worlds Your eyes hold Blue as the crescent moon Highlight green like the northern ligh

"BLACK SOUL"
I trusted you My significant other To protect this feeble heart of mine With the bond so divine I thought of you As I drowned in my own pain In hopes you’ll come to the rescue But I provided my own refuge I cowered in silence At the mention of your name I dissolved with disgrace Each time I saw your face I was alone With No where to go I was labelled “Alma Negra” *scoffs* a befitting answer I am empty Wondering through wastelands In hopes of bumping into you Reliving painful

"SHE SAID"
She said; she said I don’t want to do this anymore I can’t seem to place myself I can’t restart from scratch She said, clasping her chest Heartbeat; rabid pacing Short breaths; inhale exhale Cold hands; slip from their owner She said, I can’t wait till it’s over The madness within Overwhelming fear Paranoia She said, I don’t want to hold back Thoughts of you Pictures embedded into my head Memories of our entrails She said, she said I want to be happy I want to know peace I wa

“SOLITUDE”
I can’t remember, Our happiness, our pain I can’t seem to access those memories Not even ones that went astray I think back to previous days; Long conversations on the phone Deep thoughts on the bed Soul gazing with bare glares Where’d the time go? What happened to our happy ever after What’s with this gaping hole I feel in my chest Why doesn’t it ever seem to go away When will it end? The torment of constantly being discarded Continuously tossed aside like I don’t matter Rep

"MEMORARE"
Remember when all we knew was love; Pure, deep, raw, exposed, blind. A perfect acclimation to mutuality, A sonnet we could sing with our eyes; We thought we had the world, We held on tight, hearts embraced, Lips locked, gaze fixed, heated eyes, Hopes held high, full of drive, Trust, compassion, dedication, Truth, honesty, appreciation, Reciprocity, generosity, solemnity, Sincerity, passion; love We had tough times We fought, argued, bitched up We cussed out, we got mad We dis
