It is one thing to inversely deny the truth, and

Another to accept the relentless fates which await.

You cannot run from what is to come;

The futures past cannot be changed by the present.

Moon and sun alike,

Twilight be still as bright.

Staring at my reflection

Is like looking into an endless abyss.

Falling deeper each day,

I drift into a world of dreams

Where I live till I am no more

And my person becomes divine.

You cannot tell

But I linger between both worlds

In a desperate attempt to conceive my hearts desires

As I am filled with despair, my hope slowly drowns out

You want my apologies?

You beg me to suppress these spiralling emotions

Even as the concerto plays

Along with the melodic display of emptiness

I sink into the depths of this agony

Giving up pieces of my humanity each time.

My apologies for my future sanity

As I cannot account for hurting me

You think it is fate?

To feel what you are programmed?

What “they” see fit? What you are

compelled to believe?

Cast now a shadow on your false hopes

Let the reverence for the truth dawn on you that

What you hope to believe in is mere speculation,

And so is your existence.
