Reflect; reflect

Mind over matter

Conscience over ego

Still thought over pride

Broken heart over love

Flow like water

Breath be still

Ruse like fire

Heart born ill

You ponder on the truth

The misery behind your existence,

Unfathomable despair

Yet preceded by discontent

Stare at me

Stare at this void

The very one you made

The one you despise

Look me in my eyes

And you will see

Your darkest fears

Don’t belong to me

You can’t run

You can’t hide

My resolve, bright as the sun

I never leave your side

Fall to your knees

And beg for hope

Something you’ll never find

Lose your way, never return

Stare me down I say!

Let your heart congeal

Don’t look away!

Your innocence I will steal

Mirror Mirror I beseech thee

Help me find my way

This I plea

Hear my cries, I’ve been led astray
