BANE
In those moments where every other thing seems to fade, you remind me of the things I want to forget. Yet, I embrace the poise of my indignant duality, succumbing to the numbness, and paranoia that casts a shadow on my weary existence. I find no solace in the midst of this madness, the same furnace that once consumed me I have now made my dwelling. Your conceited ego harbours your selfish desires, unseen by the eyes. I look through you as my soul does the starry skies seeking

HERITAGE
I am strong, Brave, Proud, and Stand tall with my heart held high My ancestors, They watch over me; In their strides I precede. My home is no foreigner To your gods, Zeus, Aries Poseidon, Hades. The greats as you see fit, The powers you crave, The awe In your eyes As you look to the heavens. By blood, and tears My forefathers, and theirs before them Fought to preserve What I now call home. In her wake, she demands homage And we dedicate our Fros and Locks to her She blesses

SILENCE
I am afraid. Each time I close my eyes, The vast, endless space Never seems to end In my thoughts Lay confusion, and paranoia Far beneath the harsh exterior Buried in the past My blemishes, My battles, My wars, My truer self. They haunt me, The things I once loved; They torment me, The ones I sought to protect. In my waking moments I am numbed by pain, Shortness of breath, and The abysmal descent into the dark. I cannot wrap my head around it The harder I push The harder thes

INTO THE VOID
Here I stand, In my final moments On the brink of relapse, The very edge. There is no light On this dark path, No peace, No hope. They say do not go back to what hurt you It will make you weak But this world hurts everyday And I find myself in its midst. In solitude, I talk to the dark They echo silence. In despair I offer tears to the pillows But alas they do not thirst. I am burning out And fading all at once, And maybe I am crazy, but at least I had the courage To lose my

MASK
It is one thing to inversely deny the truth, and Another to accept the relentless fates which await. You cannot run from what is to come; The futures past cannot be changed by the present. Moon and sun alike, Twilight be still as bright. Staring at my reflection Is like looking into an endless abyss. Falling deeper each day, I drift into a world of dreams Where I live till I am no more And my person becomes divine. You cannot tell But I linger between both worlds In a des

OUT OF LIFE
My eyes are heavy, So full like the stained Graveyard on my lips Filled with death. It is too much. I do not know how much more I can take, I have been holding on too long. It is 3 am and I am nauseated Not feeling, Still plagued With the madness lingering beneath. What is going on in my mind, Where is the peace, What has happened to my soul, Now lost in anguish? Find me, Please find me. I am sinking lower each day, So someone please help. I am tired Oh so tired. It hurts

ETERNITY
Spent an eternity wondering If that was me Blindly locked in, True form, mirror trapped, reflected. What has been seen Remains a mystery still, Like the source of life, All that is, all that we are. If death truly was the healer, And life, the most gruesome lessons, Where does that leave Our presence on this fickle earth? Why is there no peace For the innocent, Hope for the lost, Love for the weary. Each streak of blood Through these persons Has been a thousand lifetimes O
